每剟 (轉劣 fanqie. The Boya says: “剟 [duō] means to pare or trim.” It means scraping down the surplus from one's robes and almsbowl to turn around and give to the poor, as well as to cultivate merit. The Gujin zhengzi gives it with the radical 刀 and phonetic 叕. 叕 has the same pronunciation as above. In the transmission it is written with 手 as [拊], which is incorrect and should be altered).
