廣袤（下謀候反韻詮袤延也聲類云袤猶長也說文云東西曰廣南北曰袤從衣矛聲也）。

廣袤 (The second character has the fanqie mou2-hou4. The Yunquan says: '袤 means to extend.' The Shenglei says: '袤 is like cháng, long.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'East to west is called guǎng [breadth]; south to north is called mào [length]; it is derived from yī [衣] with máo [矛] as phonetic').
