羇旅（寄冝反廣雅羇寄也從𠔿䩭聲䩭音同上記中從馬非此用也下力舉反杜注左傳云羇旅寄客也說文從㫃從从从即古從字也並二人相從之義也）。

羇旅 (sojourner): The first character is the fanqie 寄 (j-) + 冝 (yí) [jī]. The Guangya says: "羇 means to lodge." It takes 𠔿 as semantic component and 䩭 as phonetic component; 䩭 has the same sound as above. In the text it is written with 馬, which is incorrect here. The second character is the fanqie 力 (l-) + 舉 (jǔ) [lǚ]. Du's commentary on the Zuozhuan says: "羇旅 means a lodging guest." The Shuowen jiezi says: "It takes 㫃 and 从 as semantic components; 从 is the ancient form of the character 從 (to follow), indicating the sense of two persons following one another."
