Vast and open (pronounced with the fanqie 昌掌 [ch- + -aŋ = chaŋ]. The Cangjie pian says: "High and prominent." The Shuowen jiezi says: "Levelled high ground from which one can gaze afar; composed of 文 with 尚 as phonetic." The Yunquan says: "Spacious").
