Firm and robust (遒楗, the first character is pronounced with the fanqie initial [就] and final [由]; the Mao commentary on the Shijing says: '遒 means solid'; the Shuowen jiezi says: 'It takes the radical 辵 and the phonetic 酋'; the second character is pronounced 健; Zheng Xuan's commentary on the Liji says: '揵 means robust'; the Shuowen jiezi says: 'It takes the radical 木 and the phonetic 建').
