Petty and trivial (瑣瑣, pronounced with the fanqie initial [蘇] and final [果]; the Erya says: '瑣瑣 means small'; Guo Pu's commentary says: 'An appearance of being narrow and vulgar in ability and capacity'; the Shuowen jiezi says: 'It takes the radical 王 and the phonetic 𧴪'; writing it as 㑿 in the transmission is erroneous).
