讚唄（上子且反方言讚解郭璞注云讚頌所以解釋物理也釋名云穪人之美曰讚尚書益讚於禹古今正字從言贊聲贊音同上從貝從兟兟並先）。

讚唄 (the upper character is zi and qie in fanqie. The Fangyan says: "讚 means to explain." Guo Pu's commentary says: "讚 and 頌 are that by which the principles of things are explained." The Shiming says: "Praising people's goodness is called 讚." The Shangshu says: "Yi aided [zan] Yu." The Gujin zhengzi states it is composed of 言 [speech] with 贊 phonetic; 贊 is pronounced the same as above, composed of 貝 [cowrie/wealth] and 兟, which is two 先 side by side.)
