泯之（彌忍反毛詩傳曰泯滅也爾雅云盡也說文從水民聲論文從山作𧉬誤也）。

Obliterating it [泯之] (彌 plus 忍 fanqie. The commentary to the *Mao Poetry* states: "泯 means to extinguish." The *Erya* states: "It means to deplete." The *Shuowen* has it with 'water' [水] and 民 phonetic. In the treatise, writing it with 'mountain' [山] as 𧉬 is an error).
