泛漲（孚梵反賈逵注國語云泛浮也毛詩傳云泛泛流皃也下張亮反考聲云漲水增大也沙岸延入水也說文二字並從水乏張並聲論文從凡作汎誤也）。

泛漲 (*f-f-: Jia Kui's commentary on the Guoyu says: "泛 means to float." The Mao Commentary on the Shijing says: "泛泛 has the appearance of flowing." The second character is *zh-l-. The Kaosheng says: "漲 means the water increases and grows; sandbanks extending into the water." The Shuowen jiezi says: "Both characters are formed from 水 with 乏 and 張 as phonetics." In the treatise it is written with 凡 as 汎, which is an error.)
