柱礎（音楚即今之柱下石矴也亦名柱礩一名柱磶磶音昔南人呼為礎形聲也）。

柱礎: [礎] is pronounced *chǔ* (楚); namely, what is nowadays the stone footing beneath a pillar; also called a pillar's 'zhì' (礩); another name is pillar's 'xì' (磶); 'xì' is pronounced *xī* (昔); people of the south call it 'chǔ'; a phono-semantic compound.
