南鶼（音兼比翼鳥名也爾雅曰南方有比翼鳥名曰兼兼似𠒎各有一目一翼相得乃飛不比不飛青赤色論作西非也）。

南鶼: [鶼] is pronounced *jiān* (兼); the name of the bird with shared wings; the Erya states: 'In the south there is a bird with shared wings named the jiān-jiān; it resembles a duck (𠒎), and each has only one eye and one wing; they must pair together before they can fly, and cannot fly without pairing; they are blue-green and red in colour'; written in treatises as 'west' [西] is an error.
