金鏃（下宗速反廣雅云鏃鏑也爾雅云金鏃翦羽謂之鍭也說文云鏃刺也從金族聲鏑音的鍭音侯刺音雌四反）。

金鏃 (The second syllable has the fanqie 宗速 [zú]. The Guangya says: "鏃 [zú] means an arrowhead (dí)." The Erya says: "A metal arrowhead with clipped feathers is called a 鍭 [hóu]." The Shuowen jiezi says: "鏃 means a barb." It takes 金 [jīn] as semantic and 族 [zú] as phonetic. 鏑 is pronounced 的 [dí]. 鍭 is pronounced 侯 [hóu]. 刺 has the fanqie 雌四 [cì].)
