撤俸（上恥列反毛詩傳云撤剝也杜注左傳云撤去也廣雅云減也古今正字云從手徹省聲下風用反）。

撤俸 (The first syllable has the fanqie 恥列 [chè]. The Mao Commentary to the Shijing says: "撤 [chè] means to strip away." Du [Yu's] commentary to the Zuo zhuan says: "撤 means to remove." The Guangya says: "To reduce." The Gujin zhengzi says it takes 手 [shǒu] as semantic and an abbreviated form of 徹 [chè] as phonetic. The second syllable has the fanqie 風用 [fèng].)
