獻捷（潛葉反毛詩傳云捷戰勝也穀梁傳云捷軍得也左傳云齊侯來獻戎捷也杜注云捷克也說文捷獵也從手捷聲疌音疾妾反）。

獻捷 (qian + ye [jié]. Mao's commentary to the Classic of Poetry says: "捷 means victory in battle." The Guliang Commentary says: "捷 means spoils taken by an army." The Zuozhuan says: "The Marquis of Qi came to present the spoils of war against the Rong." Du's commentary says: "捷 means to conquer." The Shuowen says: "捷 means to hunt; it derives from 手 [hand] with 捷 [疌] as phonetic." 疌 is ji + qie [jié].)
