紋繒（上物分反考聲云紋吳越謂小綾為紋也文字典說云織文繒之謂綾案紋繒今綾之類也）。

Patterned silk (紋繒; the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 物分. The Kaosheng says: "For 紋, the Wu and Yue regions call small patterned damask 紋." The Wenzi dianshuo says: "Woven patterned silk is called damask [綾]." In our view, patterned silk is of the modern category of damask).
