余慨（下開愛反考聲云慨傷歎也慷慨志氣激揚也鄭箋毛詩云慨歎息也說文太息也從心既聲慷音康朗反）。

余慨 (The lower [character] is kai + ai [kǎi]. The Kaosheng says: "慨 means to sigh in sorrow; 慷慨 means one's resolve and spirits are aroused." Zheng's supplementary commentary to Mao's Poetry says: "慨 means to sigh." The Shuowen says: "To sigh deeply; it derives from 心 [heart] with 既 as phonetic." 慷 is pronounced kang + lang [kāng].)
