Suspended wart (懸疣: the second [character] is pronounced *you* [yóu]; the Kaosheng says: “A wart (疣) is an ailment, and also a knot of wind on the skin.” The Shuowen states: “Categorized under 疒 ['illness'] with 尤 as phonetic; 疒 is *nü-e* [n- + -è = nè] in fanqie; in ancient script it is written as 肬, 𤴨, or 𱲔, which are all the same”).
