膏肓（上音高下音荒杜注左傳云肓隔也顧野王云胷之肓心之上也說文從心上隔也從月從亾聲）。

Between heart and diaphragm (膏肓) (the first character is pronounced like gao [高]; the second character is pronounced like huang [荒]; Du [Yu]'s commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: "Huang is the diaphragm." Gu Yewang says: "The huang of the chest is above the heart." The Shuowen says: "The diaphragm above the heart; it follows the flesh radical [月] with wang [亾] phonetic").
