Boats and rafts (舟航): [The second character is pronounced] *hu* + *lang* fan. The Fangyan says: 'A boat/raft (航) is the name of a boat.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'It is formed with [the semantic classifier] boat (舟) and the phonetic component *yuan* (元).' The Jiwen writes it as 𮎃, which is a vulgar character.
