馬[笐-〦+(兜-儿)]（下斗侯反廣雅云樓篼囊也說文亦食馬器也從竹兜聲傳文作兜即鎧也非本義也）。

Horse feedbag (馬[笐-〦+(兜-儿)]: the second character has the fanqie 斗 + 侯. The Guangya says: "Loudōu means a sack." The Shuowen jiezi also says it is a vessel for feeding horses. It takes 竹 as semantic classifier and 兜 as phonetic component. The transmitted text writes 兜, which means armor and is not the primary meaning).
