River margin (江湄: the second character has the fanqie 美 + 悲. The Classic of Poetry says: "At the margin of the water." The Erya says: "Where water and plants meet is called méi." The Shuowen jiezi takes 水 as semantic classifier and 眉 as phonetic component).
