淪湑（上音倫下息余反鄭玄注儀禮云湑清孔注尚書云淪汲也考聲湑沈也廣雅流也說文浚也從水胥聲浚音峻）。

淪湑 (the first character is pronounced lún; the second has the fanqie: 息 + 余 [xū]). Zheng Xuan's commentary on the Yili says: 'Xū means clear.' Kong's commentary on the Shangshu says: 'Lún means to draw [water].' The Kaosheng says: 'Xū means submerged.' The Guangya says: 'To flow.' The Shuowen says: 'To dredge (浚).' It takes 水 as radical and 胥 as phonetic; 浚 is pronounced 峻 [jùn].
