鋒鏑（上麩逢反文頴注漢書云鋒銳也說文云鋒謂兵刃端也從金夆聲夆音峯下丁歷反廣雅矢鏃也說文云矢鋒也從金啇聲鏃音宗速反啇音的）。

鋒鏑 (the first character has the fanqie: 麩 + 逢 [fēng]). Wen Ying's commentary on the Hanshu says: 'Fēng means sharp.' The Shuowen says: 'Fēng refers to the tip of an edged weapon.' It takes 金 as radical and 夆 as phonetic; 夆 is pronounced fēng. The second character has the fanqie: 丁 + 歷 [dī]. The Guangya says: 'An arrowhead.' The Shuowen says: 'The tip of an arrow.' It takes 金 as radical and 啇 as phonetic; arrowhead (鏃) has the fanqie 宗 + 速 [zù], and 啇 is pronounced dí (的).
