三昧（莫蓋反或此言三摩提或云三摩帝皆訛也正云三摩地此譯云等持等者正也正持心也謂持諸功德也或云正定謂任緣一境離諸邪亂也）。

Samādhi (三昧; fanqie m- [莫] + -g- [蓋]; or said here as sanmoti [三摩提], or called sanmoti [三摩帝], which are both corruptions; correctly it is sanmodi [三摩地]; translated here as "equal-holding (equipoise)": "equal" means correct, correctly holding the mind, which means maintaining all merits; or it is called "correct concentration", meaning resting on one sense-sphere while leaving all delusions and distractions).
