茵蓐（又作鞇同於人反說文茵車中重席也釋名茵車中所坐者也用虎皮為之有文采因以下與相連著也下而欲反三蒼蓐薦也）。

茵蓐 [cushions and mats]: [The first character] is also written 鞇; both are [pronounced with the] fanqie 於人 (yīn). The Shuowen jiezi says: "茵 is a double mat inside a carriage." The Shiming says: "An 茵 is what one sits upon within a carriage; it is made of tiger skin and has patterns and coloration; because of this (因), it rests underneath and is joined to it." The second character has the fanqie 而欲 (rù). The Sancang says: "蓐 means a mattress."
