幃帶（音韋蒼頡篇幃慊也亦巾也經文或作帷于追反字林在旁曰帷謂張帛障旁也釋名帷圍也謂自障圍也）。

幃帶 [curtain sash]: [The first character is pronounced with the] sound 韋 (wéi). The Cang Jie pian says: "幃 means a fragrant pouch; it is also a kerchief." In the scripture text it is sometimes written 帷, [pronounced with the] fanqie 于追 (wéi). The Zilin says: "What is at the sides is called 帷; it refers to hanging silk to screen the sides." The Shiming says: "帷 means enclosure (圍); it refers to self-enclosure and screening."
