惆悵（勅周反下勅亮反說文惆悵失志也亦悲愁也）。

惆悵 [melancholy and despondent]: [The first character is pronounced with the] fanqie 勅周 (chóu). The second character is [pronounced with the] fanqie 勅亮 (chàng). The Shuowen jiezi says: "惆悵 means losing one's aspiration; it also means grieved and sorrowful."
