揵沓和（又云揵陀羅或作乾沓婆或云揵達婆或云乾闥婆舊名也今正言犍達嚩皆國音之不同也此云齅香亦云樂神一云食香舊云香神亦近也經中亦作香音神也義譯云尋香神此譯為正也）。

Qiantatuo 揵沓和 (also called Qiantuoluo 揵陀羅, Gantapuo 乾沓婆, Qiandapo 揵達婆, or Gandharva [乾闥婆], which are older names. Now, correctly speaking, it is Gandharva [犍達嚩], all due to differences in regional pronunciation. Here it is translated as 'fragrance sniffer', also called 'spirit of music'; another says 'fragrance eater'; the old rendering 'fragrance spirit' is also close. In sūtras it is also written as 'fragrance-sound spirit'. Translating by meaning as 'fragrance-seeking spirit' is the correct rendering).
