炫耀（上玄絹反廣雅炫明也埤蒼光也下遙照反說文曜照也昡曜二字並從火形聲字也）。

Dazzling (炫耀; the first character is xuán-juàn fan [xuàn]; the Guangya says: 'Xuàn means bright.' The Picang says: 'Light.' The second character is yáo-zhào fan [yào]; the Shuowen jiezi says: 'Yào means illuminating.' Both xuàn 炫 and yào 耀 are pictophonetic characters derived from huǒ 火 [fire]).
