緘嘿（甲咸反孔注尚書緘閉也說文緘束篋也從糸咸聲下瞢北反寂嘿無聲也或從犬作默亦同也）。

Sealed in silence (緘嘿: [緘 is] pronounced 甲 [jiǎ] + 咸 [xián] fanqie. Kong's commentary on the Book of Documents says: '緘 means closed.' The Shuowen says: 'To tie up a hamper.' It takes 糸 as semantic classifier and 咸 as phonetic. The second character is pronounced 瞢 [méng] + 北 [běi] fanqie; silent and making no sound. It is also written with 犬 as 默, identically).
