桄桯（上音光牀下中間橫桄也考聲作橫橫相於橫字下體丁反韻詮云碓一也即牀兩邊長汀也亦名牀梐傳文從𢛳作㯖非也亦恐是書誤著文者應從木作[木*聽]亦不成字考聲作𰠔也）。

Guangcheng 桄桯 (The first character is pronounced guāng: the horizontal rail in the middle under a couch. The Kaosheng writes it with the horizontal-stroke radical, combining horizontal strokes, with the lower part pronounced dīng. The Yunquan states: "An alternative name for a pestle; that is, the long side-rails on both sides of a couch." It is also named the bed-guard. Transmitted texts that write it with the heart radical as 㯖 are incorrect; it is also feared to be a scribal error. Those who write it should use the wood radical to form [木*聽], which however does not form a standard character; the Kaosheng writes it as 𰠔.)
