執鍮（上正執字也字書云執操持也說文從丮從𢆎亦聲丮音戟𢆎音女涉反下音偷埤蒼云鍮石似金非是金也古今正字從金從偷省聲者也）。

Holding brass (執鍮: the first is the correct character 執. Lexicons say: "執 means to grasp or hold." The Shuowen says: "It has the components 丮 and 𢆎, which also provides the sound." 丮 is pronounced like 戟 [jǐ]; 𢆎 is nǚ + shè fanqie [niè]. The second character is pronounced like 偷 [tōu]. The Picang says: "鍮石 (brass) resembles gold, but is not gold." The Gujin zhengzi says: "It has the metal radical, with an abbreviated 偷 as phonetic.").
