盥手（上官椀反說文盥洗手也從臼水臨皿會意字也已見前釋臼音菊者也）。
Washing the hands (盥手: the first character is guān + wǎn fanqie [guàn]. The Shuowen says: "盥 means to wash hands. It is an ideogram composed of 臼 (hands), water, facing a basin (皿)." It has been explained previously. 臼 is pronounced like 菊 [jú]).
