脫躧（下師爾反孟子云視弃天下如弃弊躧即脫躧義也考聲作屣履屬不攝跟者也亦從革作𩌦說文云躧履也從足麗聲也）。

Shedding slippers (脫躧: the second character is shī + ěr fanqie [xǐ]. Mencius says: "Viewing the casting aside of the world like the discarding of a worn slipper (躧)," which is the meaning of 脫躧. The Kaosheng writes it as 屣: a type of footwear with the heels folded down; it is also written with the leather radical as 𩌦. The Shuowen says: "躧 means footwear; it has the foot radical, with 麗 as phonetic.").
