圭竇（上桂擕反禮記儒行云蓽門圭竇蓬戶瓮牖是也鄭玄注云竇孔穴也按圭竇小窻牖之屬也說文從重土下音豆）。

圭竇 (The first character has the fanqie phonetic spelling 桂 [guì] + 擕 [xié], [guī]. The "Conduct of the Scholar" in the Liji says: "Wicker gates and splay-hole windows, bramble doors and jar openings"; this is it. Zheng Xuan's commentary says: "A 'dòu' is an aperture or hole." Examining this, a 'guīdòu' is a category of small window or aperture. The Shuowen says: "It is composed of doubled 土 [earth]." The second character has the sound 豆 [dòu]).
