煢煢 (The fanqie phonetic spelling is 葵 [kuí] + 營 [yíng], [qióng]. Kong Anguo's commentary to the Shangshu says: "'Qióng' means solitary." The Mao Commentary to the Shijing says: "'Qióngqióng' means having nothing to rely upon." The Shuowen says: "It takes 卂 as its radical and an abbreviated 熒 as its phonetic component." The phonetic reading of 卂 is 信 [xìn]; the phonetic reading of 熒 is 宂 + 營 [yíng]).
