懍然（上林錦反郭璞注方言云懍猶敬也孔注尚書云懍危懼貌也說文從心從稟聲稟彼錦反）。

懍然 (The first character has the fanqie phonetic spelling 林 [lín] + 錦 [jǐn], [lǐn]. Guo Pu's commentary to the Fangyan says: "'Lǐn' is like reverent." Kong Anguo's commentary to the Shangshu says: "'Lǐn' is the appearance of peril and dread." The Shuowen says: "It takes 心 [heart] as radical and 稟 as phonetic." The phonetic reading of 稟 is 彼 [bǐ] + 錦 [jǐn], [bǐn]).
