䊪食（上蘭恒反淮南云糲粮之食也蒼頡篇云䊪麤米也亦脫粟米也說文從米從萬聲傳文從厂作糲俗字也）。

䊪食 [coarse food]: The first character is read with the fanqie lan + heng (lì). The Huainanzi says: 'A diet of coarse grain.' The Cangjiepian says: 'Lì means coarse rice, or unhusked grain.' The Shuowen jiezi says it is composed of the [semantic] radical 'rice' (米) and the sound wàn (萬). In the transmitted text it is written with the [radical] 'cliff' as 糲, which is a vulgar character.
