驍捍（上晈堯反許叔重曰驍勇急也漢書云驍騎將軍廣雅云健也說文云驍良馬也從馬堯聲下寒旦反前第十九卷已釋訖亦從心作忓義同也）。

Valiant and fierce (驍捍: the first character is [pronounced with the fanqie] 晈堯 [xiāo]. Xu Shuzhong says: '驍 means courageous and quick.' The Han shu mentions the 'valiant cavalry general' (驍騎將軍). The Guangya states: 'It means strong.' The Shuowen jiezi states: '驍 means a fine horse; it takes the "horse" radical and 堯 phonetic.' The second character is [pronounced with the fanqie] 寒旦 [hàn]; it was already explained in the nineteenth fascicle; also written with the 'heart' radical as 忓, with the same meaning).
