敻遠 ('distant and far-off': the first character has the fanqie 火娉 [huǒ + pīng]. Liu Zhao's commentary to the Gongyang zhuan says: '敻 means deep and distant.' The Guangya says: '敻 is like looking into the distance.' The Shuowen says: 'It means seeking after. It is derived from 𥄎 with an ancient figure above a cave, being an ideographic compound.' 𥄎 is pronounced 威).
