Yingdai 瀛岱 (The upper character is pronounced fanqie 郢精. The Kaosheng says: "Ying 瀛 means the ocean." The Liezi states: "In the northeast there is a great abyss, within which are five mountains; the third is called Yingzhou." It probably refers to this. The Gujin zhengzi says: "It has the 'water' radical and the phonetic component ying 嬴." The lower character is pronounced fanqie 臺賚. The Shangshu states: "In the second month he made an inspection tour to the east, reaching Mount Dai (Daizong)." Fan Ning says: "It is Mount Tai, the foremost of the Five Sacred Peaks." The Shuowen states: "It has the 'mountain' radical and the phonetic component dai 代").
