刓剔（上吾丸反王逸注楚辭云刓削也說文剸也從刀元聲下汀亦反聲類云剔治也解也剃髮也文字典說從刀易聲）。

刓剔 ('Scraped and pared'; the first character has the fanqie 吾 + 丸 [wán]. Wang Yi's commentary on the Chuci says: 'Wan means to pare down.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'To cut; composed with "knife" (刀) as semantic element and 元 as phonetic element.' The second character has the fanqie 汀 + 亦 [tī]. The Shenglei says: 'Ti means to dress, to dismember, or to shave hair.' The Wenzidian shuo says: 'Composed with "knife" (刀) as semantic element and 易 as phonetic element.')
