蜾螺（上戈火反下盧果反毛詩傳云蒲蘆也郭云即𥿳𭦫蜂也俗呼為蠮塕也說文正作[虫*(嬴-女)][虫*(嬴-女)]從虫𣎆聲集本作蜾螺通俗字𩰭音戈𣎆音盧禾反蠮音伊繼反螉音翁也）。

Potter wasp (蜾螺; the upper character is g[ē] + [h]uǒ fanqie; the lower character is l[ú] + [gu]ǒ fanqie. The Mao Commentary on the Classic of Poetry states: 'It is the púlu.' Guo states: 'That is, the mud wasp (jiéjī); commonly called the yèwèng.' The Shuowen jiezi gives the standard character as 𧎣, with the radical 虫 and the phonetic 𣎆. The collected editions write it as 蜾螺. The Tongsu wen gives 𩰭 as pronounced gē, 𣎆 as pronounced l[ú] + [h]é fanqie; 蠮 is pronounced y[ī] + [j]ì fanqie; 塕 is pronounced wēng).
