惇庬（上頓溫反賈逵注國語云惇大也爾疋厚也方言信也郭璞亦誠信貌說文作惇厚也從心𦎫聲集本作敦通用字也下忙江反毛詩傳云庬厚也方言凡物大貌曰庬聲類[古/日/羊]音順倫反厂音罕尨音同上之也）。

Dunmeng 惇庬 (The upper character is pronounced fanqie 頓溫. Jia Kui's commentary on the Guoyu says: "Dun 惇 means great." The Erya says: "Substantial/generous." The Fangyan says: "Trustworthy." Guo Pu also says it is the appearance of sincerity and trustworthiness. The Shuowen writes it as 惇: "Generous; it has the 'heart' radical and the phonetic component chun 𦎫." Collected editions write dun 敦, which is an interchangeable character. The lower character is pronounced fanqie 忙江. The Mao commentary on the Shijing says: "Meng 庬 means generous." The Fangyan says: "In general, the appearance of something being large is called meng 庬." The Shenglei gives [古/日/羊] pronounced fanqie 順倫, chang 厂 pronounced han 罕, and mang 尨 pronounced the same as above).
