翕欻（上歆邑反說文云翕縮鼻也從合羽聲下勳欝反𦵮琮注西京賦欻忽然皃也說文云從炎欠聲）。

Abruptly and swiftly (翕: fanqie 歆邑 [xī]. The Shuowen jiezi says: "翕 means to contract the nostrils; composed of 合 with 羽 phonetic." The lower graph has the fanqie 勳欝 [xū]. Xue Zong's commentary on the Xijing fu says: "欻 means sudden in appearance." The Shuowen jiezi says: "Composed of 炎 with 欠 phonetic").
