僾然（上哀岱反毛詩傳云僾𰇫也鄭箋云使人𰇫然也說文髣髴也從人愛聲𰇫合作悒音邑）。

僾然 [àirán, indistinctly / sorrowfully] (The first character has the fanqie 哀岱 [āi + dài]. The commentary on the Mao Shi says: 'Ài means sad (yì).' Zheng's commentary says: 'Causing one to feel dejected (yìrán).' The Shuowen says: 'Indistinctly appearing.' It takes 人 as semantic and 愛 as phonetic. 𰇫 should properly be 悒, pronounced 邑 [yì]).
