婉孌（上冤阮反毛詩傳云婉從也亦美皃也杜注左傳云約也說文從女宛聲下劣囀反字書云孌婉順皃說文慕也從女䜌聲䜌音劣專反）。

婉孌: The first character has the fanqie phonetic notation yuan (冤) + ruan (阮). The Mao Commentary to the Shijing states: '婉 means yielding and compliant; it also denotes an attractive appearance.' Du's commentary on the Zuozhuan states: 'It means restrained.' The Shuowen jiezi states: 'Analyzed as following the semantic component "woman" (女) and the phonetic component wan (宛).' The second character has the fanqie phonetic notation lie (劣) + zhuan (囀). The Zishu states: '孌 describes a gentle, compliant appearance.' The Shuowen jiezi states: 'It means to admire or long for.
