獸呴（呼垢反廣疋云呴鳴也顧野王云獸聲也賈逵呼呺也聲類噑也古今正字作𤘽義同亦作吽從牛句聲集作呴通也）。

獸呴: The fanqie phonetic notation is hu (呼) + gou (垢). The Guangya states: '呴 means crying out.' Gu Yewang states: 'The roar of a beast.' Jia Kui says it means howling (呼呺). The Shenglei says it means roaring (噑). The Gujin zhengzi writes it as 𤘽, with the same meaning; it is also written as 吽, analyzed as following the semantic component "ox" (牛) and the phonetic component gou (句). The collected editions write it as 呴, which is acceptable.
