廟祧（他彫反禮記云遠廟為祧鄭云祧之言超也上去意也遷廟之主以昭穆合藏二祧之中古今正字從示兆聲）。

廟祧 [miàotiāo, ancestral temple and remote shrine] (The second character has the fanqie 他彫 [tā + diāo]. The Liji says: 'A remote ancestral shrine is called tiāo.' Zheng says: 'Tiāo means to transcend (chāo), carrying the meaning of going beyond. The spirit tablets of removed temples are stored jointly according to the zhāomù order in the two remote shrines.' The Gujin zhengzi says: It takes 示 as semantic and 兆 as phonetic).
