僅辭（勤靳反賈逵注國語云僅猶言纔能也說文從人堇聲堇音謹或作廑㝻也）。
Scarcely speaking 僅辭 (fanqie: 勤靳 [jìn]). Jia Kui's commentary to the Guoyu says: '僅 is like saying barely or only just.' The Shuowen jiezi says it takes 人 ('person') as semantic and 堇 as phonetic. 堇 has the sound 謹. It is also written as 廑 or 㝻.
